FAITH IN THE CITY

AN INTRODUCTION TO FAITH COMMUNITIES IN DUBLIN’S
NORTH INNER CITY

Did you know that there are thriving Buddhist, Islamic and Christian communities within a stones throw of Talbot Street?

Ever wonder what these communities actually understand
about the world and how to live in it?

Please join us for a series of introductory talks on these faiths, which will run on
5 consecutive Monday nights 6 to 7.30 p.m. from 12th November to 10 December inclusive. Each talk will be hosted in the centres or places of worship of the different communities.

You are welcome to come to all or some of the talks, as you prefer.

12th November: Methodist – Dublin Central Mission, 9c Lower Abbey Street.
19th November: Roman Catholic – Pro–Cathedral, St. Kevin’s Oratory, Thomas Davis Street.
26th November: Buddhist – Dublin Buddhist Centre, 5 James Joyce Street.
3rd December: Islam – Anwar–E–Madina Mosque, 8 – 9 Talbot Street.
10th December: Church of Ireland – St. George and St. Thomas, Cathal Brugha Street.
