Swami Vivekananda – “A Puppet Show”

This event marks the 150th anniversary of Sister Nivedita (Irish born educationalist and national heroine Margaret Elizabeth Noble and disciple of Swami Vivekananda). The show is brought by the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi, in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Indian Embassy (Ireland) Dublin City Interfaith Forum, Eire Vedanta Society and Vedic Hindu Cultural Centre of Ireland.

The show illustrates the life and events of the great Swami Vivekananda who is credited with raising interfaith awareness and bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion during the late 19th century. took up the project of developing a puppet show based on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The one and a quarter long puppet has toured USA, Canada, Malaysia, Japan and other countries and has received outstanding reviews
