This colorful celebration will include reflections and prayers from our diverse faith traditions, music, and songs, silent time and presentations from a range of inspiring speakers.

Dublin City Interfaith Forum will open the World Interfaith Harmony Week 1–7 Feb 2016, with “Faith In The City”, DCIF’s series of exploratory sessions of faith and culture. This first 2016 session will be held at the Indian Orthodox Church.

Mitzvah Day 365 brings people each year, to take part in collective, hands–on social action projects which make a real difference to local issues.
Now a well–anticipated focal point in British Jewry’s annual calendar, Mitzvah Day galvanises participants – regardless of age, faith, affiliation, gender or socio–economic position – to donate their time and energy to a diverse range of causes that make a tangible difference to those in need around the world. We have seen that genuine community inclusion occurs when everyone, regardless of capability, participates side–by–side.
DCIF – UN INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE 2015

DCIF will hold an annual event to mark the UN International Day of Peace. Leaders and members of many of the different faith communities in the city will come together to celebrate our common commitment to peace and to celebrate the diversity of our traditions.
This years event will involve a service with readings and music from the different faith communities.

This year’s theme comes to us from the churches of Brazil. Brazilians, who have traditionally been tolerant of their various social classes and ethnic groups, are now living through a time of growing intolerance made manifest in high levels of violence, especially against minorities and the vulnerable.
